An ode to neon before the trend ends in 2020!!!

Hey hey peeps! I haven’t been very active on my blog page here. How have you guys been doing??? Hope all’s well!! A little birdie told me that the neon trend is going to go out of style, which came as a shocker to me…I love neons, there was a point in life I would eat, sleep and breathe neons…As the trend comes closer to its last days, let me show you how I like to wear my neon tees and style them!!!

LOOK 1

3T4A6121

‘You got that Red shades on’- a Street style inspired look! The entire outfit is from SHEIN. I have paired the neon green turtle neck tee with a side tape pant and striped sleeve bomber jacket. The black and shoes from Lulu and Sky are a perfect match to the outfit. The bright red shades from ZARA give that much needed street style edge and complete the entire look.

LOOK 2

3T4A6112-Edit

‘Got that rainbow on my mind’- a mix of all colours that are bright! Combining the bright almost neon yellow front knot tee with the rainbow striped pants from SHEIN was something I really enjoyed and found something playful about this look. I kept my footwear neutral- grey sporty loafers from ZARA. The colourful striped bag gave an added that playfulness to the look…P.S. my husband got this from a local store in GOA. Lastly, I added the rainbow coloured bobby pins, to my hair to complete the look.

LOOK 3

3T4A6231

‘Sass me up with neon’- going subtly sassy with that neon green. In this look, I have paired the knotted neon green tee from SHEIN with my classic blue denims from VEROMODA. The suede nude heels with front tassels from Lulu and Sky adds the sassy to the look. A pair of oversized golden hoops from Forever21 and open hair simply complete the look.

My current favourite organic lipstick brand and shades I am obsessing over!

Hey hey peeps! How ya’ll doing??? It’s been a long while since I last came on this platform and wrote. You guys have already heard this, but yeah I shall repeat myself…Life has been crazy-busy past couple of months with school and ‘The Gram’ and Events, I had no time and energy to pen my thoughts down on my blog channel! And whenever I wanted to start writing there would always be something else I would get distracted with 😦  But, nonetheless here I am and today I am going to be talking about my current favourite organic lipstick brand 🙂

SONATURALS, a brand inspired by the magical Indian landscape and heritage! They have range of lip care products like lip scrubs & lip creams, lipsticks, kajal for us ladies and for the men they have beard oil, beard balm and hair wax. All the products are made with completely natutral ingredients and contain no harmful chemicals, additives or fillers. With Sonaturals, you get the promise of forever goodness and their 100% cruelty free products are not just good for you but they are good for nature! In short, products by Sonaturals are eco-friendly, wholesome, organic and healthy since they as a brand stay far-far away from anything that might harm the nature.

The Sonaturals lipsticks are smooth, glide easily and are enriched with Vitamin E & shea butter. For all you multi-taskers, the jugglers, the hard-workers, however busy you are, you have got your back covered with Sonaturals’s lipsticks, that are untiring as you are 😉

So, now finally let us dive into my favourite lipstick shades by Sonaturals!

MAYA

The power by which the universe becomes manifest; the illusion or appearance of the phenomenal world is the very definition of this shade MAYA. The bright pink pops just right and the finish is satin. This enchanting colours is beauty, intellect, fantasy and reality all rolled into one. I love to wear this colour on days I feel off, and it instantaneously brightens up my day. This perfect pink shade is a day colour and could be worn for a brunch or your early evening coffee date.

BAHAR

This lipstick colour takes us back into time where our old Bollywood love songs were all about a girl & boy running behind each other in fully blossomed gardens. The shade depicts the magic of spring, blossoming in all its glory. You can dress this peachy-pink shade up or down, wear it during the day or late evening, with a coloured outfit to contrast it or simply with your LBD. Bahar perfectly matches any skin tone, any time or setting in the day!

JIVA

The colour that gives life and is life. It’s the imaginary colour of our souls- dense and dramatic. According, to the Indian mythology and scripts, Jiva is the immortal essence or life force that never perishes, that which is reborn with the human body until it attains Moksha or salvation. This red colour tells the ancient story of our philosophical texts. Add this true blood red to your lips and you are sure to not only be the life of the party but also, bring the party alive.  Wear it with an LBD or animal dress and girl I tell you, you are sure to be head-turner & showstopper! You can also wear this red colour lippie to a meeting and get that deal cracking :))

MUDITA

Mudita is inspired by the Sanskrit or Pali concept of unadulterated joy in someone else’s well-being. The warm earthy tone of Mudita reflects the imperfectly perfect beautiful, empathetic soul. The Shanti stupas and monasteries of ancient Odisha play their muse here. This colour is my everyday, go-to nude shade. I wear to work and sometimes I wear this colour to some post-work fun too 😉

So, that sums up my blog…and I hope you guys had fun reading it as much as I always have fun creating content for you’ll.

How to dress for Spring/Summer ’19!

Hey hey peeps! It’s been a crazy-hectic past few weeks. How have you guys been??? This weekend I am rather free so, I sit to pen down a few thoughts and ideas regarding spring/summer dressing. Let’s just dive into it straight 🙂

According to me, spring/summer dressing is all about free-style cuts/garments and airy fabrics, basically nothing really fitted. Also, replacing your tights with denims, linen pants and skirts. For me, wearing a dress doesn’t come naturally, I would wear one on an occasion/a night out/an event but not regularly during this season…and hence, you would generally find me in denim bottoms or linen bottoms and loose/breezy blouses. I have created three looks for you guys in collaboration with SillyPeople.

LOOK 1

3T4A9846
Ikat print blouse: SillyPeople, Pants: Westside stores, HairBand: SHEIN

The look that I am going with is very bohemian and earthy. This mustard yellow Ikat print blouse by SillyPeople and linen pants from Westside stores are just the perfect combination for a shopping afternoon or a brunching date. Frilled sleeves and red pom-poms on the neckline tassels are a unique feature of this blouse which I really adore. Red tassel earrings, striped hairband from SHEIN, tan flats from Colaba Causeway, Mumbai and a cane bag from Bali are the accessories I used to complete this look.

3T4A9859

LOOK 2

3T4A0008
Floral blouse: SillyPeople, Bell-bottom denims, Belt and Black pumps: ZARA

This floral blouse from SillyPeople is one of my favourites. The details on the neckline, the tassels to tie, the empire waistline and the sleeves of the blouse screams spring/summer. The fresh peachy pink tone of the blouse with the floral prints are perfect for a day’s outing. For my look here, I tucked the blouse in which takes the whole look a notch higher and the high-waisted bell-bottoms from ZARA gives this spring/summer look the perfect vintage feel. The black belt, black pumps and black hair band with floral prints complete this look.

3T4A9991

LOOK 3

3T4A0054
Emerald green bell sleeve blouse: SillyPeople, Leopard print denims & Black Pumps: ZARA, Watch: Guess, Earrings: PRIO

The look that I created here is for a spring/summer night out. The emerald green belted bell sleeve blouse by SillyPeople is just perfect. The high drama because of the sleeves and belt and this shade of green has so much personality in itself. Pairing it with leopard print denims and animal print accessories like the watch & earrings creates a fabulously chic combination. The black pumps from ZARA completes this whole look.

3T4A0041

Hope you guys enjoyed this blog as much as I did creating it. Thanks to SillyPeople for this collaboration 🙂

That’s all from me now…Ciao!

How to dress Retro in 2019!

Hey hey peeps! It has been a hot minute since I was hanging around here with you all…How have you all been??? Well today we shall be diving into something that I would like to call ‘RETRO-ING’ 🙂

Now, what is ‘Retro’? Wikipedia defines Retro style as “a style that is consciously derivative or imitative of trends, modes, fashions, or attitudes of the recent past. It generally implies a vintage of at least fifteen or twenty years.”

What does Retro mean to me? When I think of Retro, I feel like people were never really scared to experiment. They went ahead and mixed two bold prints together or wore super exaggerated/tight fitted clothing. Focus on super chunky and funky accessories were prominent. Keeping all of this in mind, I have put together three looks which will not only give you an idea but also a few options to get the Retro style going for you.

Oh, Hello Bell-Bottoms!!

3T4A2842
Denims & Crop Sweater: ZARA

The highlight of this look is obviously the bell-bottom styled denims. Pairing it up a Crop Sweater top beaded at the shoulders and the Cat-eye sunnies, added to the whole retro vibe that I was going for.

Print-on-print kinda chic!

3T4A2993
Top, Belt, Pants and Black Pumps: ZARA, Earring: PRIO, Suede Clutch: MYNTRA

I wore a leopard print jegging with animals like leopards, tigers, cheetahs printed on the top. To give this print-on-print monotony a break, I added a belt. I completed the look with coloured aviators that I bought from Colaba Causeway on one of my trips to Mumbai. Adding the black suede clutch & pumps, brought the look together. Block-styled earrings were famous back then which was the final touch needed to complete the look.

Whimsically Sporty

3T4A3070
Crop top & Bling jeggings: ZARA, Bag: ALDO, Earrings: Sugarbox & Sport shoes: Lulu&Sky

For this look, I kept the colour palette monotonous but played it up with other elements like the big golden buttons on the crop top, the bling on the jeggings, the snake print bag and the pink cat-eye eye-wear. These small elements painted a larger picture of giving me the ‘retro with a twist’ kinda vibe. The black and white sport shoes and the golden earrings summed up the look.

I have had super-duper fun creating these looks. Hope you guys enjoyed this blog!

Do let me know which was your favourite look in the comment section down below 🙂

Special thanks to The SassySpoon for allowing me to shoot this entire series of my blog in their Koregaon Park, Pune, location.

The PopSocket Story- little life changers!

Hey hey peeps! We have stepped into 2019 and woahhh what a roller coaster last year has been…how soon last year flew by! On that note, Happy new year you guys 🙂

Today I am taking you’ll to a different world…away from clothes, shoes, accessories, make-up and beauty! A world of accessories for your mobile. Sounds interesting, eh! Let me introduce you’ll to PopSockets. Some of you’ll would be aware of these, for some this would be totally new and even for those few who are aware of it might be using the fake one because your mobile accessory dealer sold it to you as just a PopSocket but not ‘The PopSocket’…! Now, you’ll must be starting to have so many questions about it! Hold your breath guys, that’s what I am here for. By the end of this blog, you’ll are going to be enlightened about the real PopSocket!

History of PopSockets:

In 2010, founder David Barnett was just trying to keep his headphones from tangling. He glued two buttons to the back of his phone and wrapped the headphones around it. Voila! The first PopSocket was born. Since this evolution, there was no looking back.

Benefits of PopSockets and it’s uses:

3t4a4811

Popsockets are not only cute little expanders of joy and addiction but are super-duper beneficial and have helped my relationship with my slippery phone better.

~They have improved my daily life experience with my phone/tablet and made it better in the following ways:

  • By giving me a secure and comfy grip while I text my friend or family member- I can now do all of this with one hand
  • Helping me to snap high quality photographs- giving me precision to focus because my hands don’t shake at all
  • I can also, now take stable selfies- bye-bye to blurry selfies…while I party hard with my friends and want the #nightoutselfie at the end of it
  • Reading a book on my phone/tablet peacefully without straining your hand/wrist grip
  • Don’t we all love shopping…So, I can now shop online till my heart desires because my hand isn’t tired ever
  • Playing my favourite games haven’t been this fun in a long time since I can now play for long without any hassle of a good grip

~They serve as a convenient stand for

  • reading my messages, emails, or books
  • video-chatting with my family and friends
  • watching my favourite youtube video
  • surfing the internet/ paying bills

~We all have experienced that ‘great fall of the phone on the nose’ at least once…Wow, that blow is crazy! What happens now with my PopSocket in place, I can use my phone while lying down in peace, without absolutely having to worry that my phone is going to land on my nose.

3t4a4830

~Like the founder of PopSockets, I can now keep my headphones always untangled.

~You can also, mount your PopSocket on a PopClip (placed vertically) anywhere you like- in your car, kitchen, toilet, bedroom which can be purchased separately.

~Did you guys know that PopSockets are super helpful for people with Parkinson’s. The PopSockets makes functioning with their mobile phones easier.

With that having said, let’s move on to the last part of some simple special features that help you understand the original PopSocket from the not so original ones doing the round of the market.

Simple Special features:

My PopSocket came with a mini-manual (as I like to call it) and a special disc. The mini-manual gives handy tips like guides me to place and position my PopSocket in the right way, if my PopSocket gel doesn’t feel strong, I can re-activate it by rinsing the bottom part of it under room temperature water, allow it to dry for 10 minutes and when it is dry it will work just as new and yes it works. I can also re-position my PopSocket grip as many times I like- guilty as charged I had super fun doing this and tried it over 3 times and worked perfectly fine all the 3 times. To move/remove your PopSocket simply stick a finger nail or credit card  under it and remove it out. In all of this I totally forgot introducing you’ll to the most special feature ‘the special disc’- If you are an owner of an iPhone X like me/8/ 8+ because of the anti-fingerprint coating on the glass back your PopSocket will not adhere to it. So, they give you a special transparent disc that you place first on the back and then stick your PopSocket on it…Now, come on, how thoughtful is that!

All in all for my busy life these magical expanders are game changers.

So, next time you are going to get one of these little life changers for yourself head straight to www.popsockets.in and use my code ‘PAR10’ to get yourself a 10% discount on the checkout.*this code is valid till end of January, 2019*

How to look fab this party season- Winter Edition Part 1!

Hey, hey peeps…How you’ll doing? It’s almost Christmas and I am super late in putting my blog together but all this wait and effort is worth it, I guarantee 🙂

When I think about the winters, the first thing that comes to my mind are weddings and a whole bunch of parties that you have got to attend. So, here I have put together 3 looks as my take on ‘party outfit ideas’ which you’ll could either wear them to a night-out party, an event or any wedding function.

Look 1

_MG_3225
When in doubt, just saree it out! Saree- ROOPKALA

For the first look, I wanted to stick with the classic- A saree. A beautiful lime yellow georgette saree with cutwork & crystal detailing is my staple look for a wedding, an event or even a party. This saree is really close to my heart because it is my engagement outfit. It’s something that I would grab first from amongst all the sarees I have, for a simple reason that its lightweight and doesn’t need a lot of accessorising. With just a simple pair of danglers, you can walk out of house looking like a princess in this saree. There is nothing more than a chic saree that enhances the personality of a woman. I wore my silver heels from WOODS and faux diamond jewellery from CurioCottage to complete this look.

As for the make-up & hair, a fellow blogger and friend Payal hooked me up with a wonderful make-up artist from Mumbai- Chetana Mehra. A wonderful soul with mind-blowing make-up skills. For this look, she went with simple shimmer eyes and a hot red lip and a tonne of highlighter with soft curls…always a classic 🙂

That vogue chic!!!

Sticking to the same earring, ring & shoes, I switched up the saree with a sleeveless beaded neckline gown that has modern twist with it’s chain prints and super awesome stretch material. I got this gown from a shop called BABE on M.G. road, Pune. You could wear this gown or any another gown to a cocktail party, a wedding reception or just another night out with your girls and trust me you are going to be a head-turner!

For the make-up, Chetana went with a smoky shimmer eye and nude gold lips. We decided to conclude this look with an extra edge- the half-high bun for the hair.

The shiny disco ball.

What’s a party without some glitz and glam! This short sequin number from ONLY is something you guys ought to get for this party season. I love gorgeous peacock shade it has. Pairing it up with the ZARA suede classic black heels and a SWAROVSKI necklace is all you need. But, me being me, I like to go a little extra, so I added these tiny red oval sunnies that I bought from Colaba Causeway, Bombay for Rs. 100/- and a Holographic sling bag from SHEIN. I did my own make-up for this one- a perfect nude lip and a blue glitter eye with the Wet n Wild, Megalast Liquid Catsuit eye-shadow. For the hair, I just left them loose and let my newly highlighted hair shine. And Voila…you are party ready!

Give your Autumn’18 wardrobe a classic and vintage makeover with this new brand!

Hey, hey peeps! How y’all doing??? What have you guys been upto? Diwali break for me is over and I am back to work. I made the most of my Diwali break (work wise)… and drumrolls please, I am back with a fashion blog 🙂

I visited Bombay (in the Diwali break), the place where I grew up. It’s been six years since I visited Bombay the way I did this time. Everybody knows Bombay as the land of all hustle and bustle! That’s exactly what  I attempted to capture in my photographs for my blog this time, while introducing you’ll to a new brand.

OK! now, let’s dive into the brand itself. From the land of hustle and bustle itself, Silly people is a women’s casual clothing brand. They have their Instagram store, an online store and are present on platforms like Myntra. I had the opportunity to create four distinct looks with blouses from their Autumn’18 collection. What I love about this Autumn’18 collection- the silhouettes & sleeves are so chic & vintage, the tones are so jewel, earthy & rustic and the prints are classic & contemporary. So, read on to find out how I styled these pieces and to get an idea of what their collection has to offer.

STYLE 1: THAT EVERYDAY CLASSIC RED

3T4A2459
Nude heels: Catwalk

I am in love with this red blouse that has tassel details on the neck and cutwork on the bubble sleeves. The flower prints on this blouse gives me the autumn vibes right off the bat. I paired the blouse up with blue denims (a similar shade of blue from the flowers print) and nude heels. I translated the pop of same shade of blue from the flower prints on the blouse onto my earrings, which gave the perfect contrast to this whole look that I was going for.

3T4A2480

3T4A2476

STYLE 2: THE FASHIONABLY SMART HUSTLER

3T4A2547

This girl can jump from one bus and spring into the other bus while looking fashionably forward. The vintage yolk and bell sleeves on the white blouse and the ripped denims, the leopard print boots and super hoops (as I like to call them) in gold gives this whole modern-contemporary look a classic-timeless vibe.

It’s like being classically edgy!

3T4A2542
Leopard Print Boots: Lulu and Sky; Ripped Jeans: ONLY
3T4A2498
Supe hoops: Forever21

STYLE 3: KEEPING IT TIMELESS

3T4A2558

The green jewel tone of the blouse, the sleeves & shoulder details and of course the print screams timelessness. Pairing this blouse with black palazzos kept the vintage vibe going. The sunglasses I wore, gave me that old Hollywood glamour and the blush pink tassel earrings complimented the entire look.

3T4A2569

3T4A2590
Sunnies- Lulu and Sky; Earrings- Globus Fashion

STYLE 4: FABULOUS & FIERCE

3T4A2623
Ring- SplashFashion, Nude heels- Catwalk

This look is surely one head-turner…you are definitely not going unnoticed! I am totally in love with the mixing of prints- flowers and checkers on the blouse. I paired it with black leggings with detailing on the sides, which adds to the fierce look. For the accessories, I wore black and white gold tassel earrings, the three-fingered knuckle ring and just-landed-from-the-future looking sunnies. Keeping the shoes basic with a pair of nude heels, I called it a day.

3T4A2598

3T4A2614
Sunnies- Lulu and Sky, Earring- H&M

I had such a wonderful time creating content and shooting for this blog. Bombay is so full of surprises and I cannot wait to go back for another photoshoot.

Photography done by Story in my frame by NEHA JHAVERI. Thank you so, so much for capturing the exact essence of what I had visualised.

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this as much as I did creating it for you’ll 🙂

4 amazing tricks to dress effortlessly for your Diwali party!

Hey, hey peeps! What’s up??? It’s been a longgg time since I have written a blog. Hope you guys missed me 😛

Well I am here today to help you’ll solve your traditional/ethnic wear concerns for your big fat Diwali party. It’s that time of the year when you guys are busy scrambling to buy last minute gifts, getting your house clean, decorating your house and what not. The last thing you would want to do is go to a mall or a designer and get your outfits sorted. Am I right? Fear not! Would guys believe me if I told you’ll that you’ll already have somethings in your wardrobe that you’ll can make use of and wear these individual pieces to create a whole new look. Sounds exciting already, right! Then what are you’ll waiting for…checkout how I effortless mixed and matched different pieces from my wardrobe to create amazing outfits in very little time (in less than 15 minutes) and you guys could, too.

Look 1

DSC_2461

I took a pair of basic linen palazzo pants from Westside stores and teamed it up with a blue singlet from a local shop in Colaba Causeway, Mumbai. I paired this combo by draping a leheriya saree from Jaipur, Rajasthan in the traditional Gujarati style. Silver peep-toed heels from Woodland and faux diamond jewellery from Curio Cottage, Koregaon Park, Pune completed my look.

You can use any coloured singlet, palazzo pant and saree from your’s or your mother’s or grand-mother’s wardrobe to create this quirky ensemble.

DSC_2490

Look 2

IMG_2260

If you do not have a saree or would not know how to drape one or simply just don’t want to wear a saree then I have got your back. Wear a muted/neutral singlet with a coloured palazzo and throw on a gorgeous dupatta that you would have picked on any of your trips to an exhibition or anywhere for that matter and Voila you have a winning look in a matter of 5 minutes.

I have paired a pair of indigo coloured palazzo pants with golden motifs from FBB with a black singlet and an emerald green net dupatta. To keep the traditional aspect going, I wore my favourite pair of juttis by VareliBafnaDesigns, added some bangles, a pair of kundan hooped earrings and a clutch made from left-over embroidered fabric.

DSC_2550

Look 3

IMG_2270

Moving on from palazzo pants, if you have a ghagra or a skirt with traditional embroidery work that is feeling unloved, it’s time to get it out! Match your skirt/ghagra with a singlet and add a dupatta to create this simple yet head-turning look.

I took this neon pink coloured custom ghagra and wore it with my blush pink singlet from ZARA. The neon pink silk dupatta that I bought from a handloom exhibition which was just sleeping in my wardrobe gave this look a fun and youthful twist. Once again I wore juttis by VareliBafnaDesigns. I kept my face accessories to the minimum by wearing a pearl nathani and loaded my hands with pink and white bangles that I very randomly bought on my trips to Laxmi Road, Pune.

Always remember, if your skirt/ghagra is heavy with embroidery work keep your accessories minimum or just use one statement piece of jewellery somewhere!

DSC_2554

Look 4

IMG_2277

Doesn’t this look like it is whole ensemble in itself? Well, it is not! All these pieces are from different brands and each piece in itself has so much variety that honestly when I thought of putting them together I wasn’t even sure whether they would look cohesive. The cotton-silk flared pants are from Westside stores, the orange-pink kurta with flower motifs is from BIBA (which is years old and did not get a chance to wear it until now) and the dupatta is from my friend’s closet. To keep the look strong, I wore nude stilettos from Catwalk. All you need for this look is a kurta that you can mix and match with a pair of pants- straight cut/flared and a showstopper dupatta…and you have got yourselves an elegant, classic and exclusive custom new look.

IMG_2274_Facetune_29-10-2018-22-43-16

IMG_2278

Look 5

FullSizeRender 7

OK!!! This was by far the most favourite and fun look I have worked on creating. This one is especially for those who are celebrating Diwali at their workplace. Take your old saree, convert it into a ready-to-wear kurta and wear it like a dress. You have an ethnic outfit with a dash of playfulness.

I just wore a silk- saree converted into a kurta with my pair of nude heels from Catwalk. A simple golden geometric cuff and a blush pink bag were the only accessories I used to complete the look.

This look is so versatile, party or no party I am sure you would definitely be a head-turner in your office 😉

1 tee-dress 4 ways to style it!

Hey, hey peeps! How are you’ll doing? My toddlers are keeping me busy on the job front as a teacher and with regards to blogging I am thoroughly, thoroughly enjoying every bit of it 🙂 So, here I am, with an all new post! Are you guys excited??? Drumrolls please…

I collaborated with TheSouledStore where I show you guys how I style their tee-dress in four different ways. Sounds cool already, right? Read on then folks.

Look 1: The Classic

4033

There is nothing classier than that perfect denim trench coat and a pair of classic Prada sunnies. What more can I say about the bag, it screams chique…The geometric shape, the animal prints and that buckle brings all the elements of being bold yet classy together. Lets talk about the shoes! The suede, tassel front ankle length stilettos definitely broke my heels but did complete justice to the look 😉 With all that said, the bumblebee ring from Swarovski and watch from Guess were just the right amount of accessories needed. Finishing this look with a bun and dark lips was all that I needed!

Look 2: The DJ gone Wild

DSC_0306

As the title suggests, I was going for this whole DJ-Punk chic vibe and in this quite literally I did go wild. Well, whoever says sooo much of animal print is too much…they can skip to the next to look then 😛 I have used the maximum amount of animal print accessories from my closet to create this. The boots from Lulu & Sky, the belt and scarf from a street stall in Bandra, Mumbai were the mains of this whole strategically placed animal-print-accessory-driven look. I stacked a whole lot of beige, brown and black bangles to give the look the added chunkiness. I got them on one of my trips to Colaba Causeway, Mumbai back in the days. Ahhh…the sunglasses from Lulu & Sky, gives that element of craziness to it! This is one of my favourite looks I have created with this dress and in fact an even more enjoyable & crazier photoshoot followed it.

Look 3: Let’s go Desi-Videshi

Bringing out my desi side in this look, is what I was going for! I threw on a Phulkari dupatta which my friend bought for me on her trip to Punjab and I cinched it at the waist with a black bet from AND, giving it a jacket effect. The colourful tassel earrings, the yellow bangles and the Rajasthani clutch, all of which I purchased from local shops in Jaipur & Udaipur, added to the desi vibe I was aiming for. The denim-blue slip-on juttis from a stall at Pune Farmers Market by Karen Anand, were the last piece of all the Indian accessories I used. The neon pink frames from Lulu & Sky sealed the whole Indo-western swag together. Super happy how my vision turned out for this creation!

Look 4: Stay Weird

DSC_0373True to the caption on the dress, I went ahead and styled it weirdly! I wore the dress with a whole bunch of coloured beads in an off-shoulder fashion. The red band-yellow band flip-flops from Veromoda was a must for this look. To add to the weirdness, I wore one yellow earring and one red earring both of which are a part of my street shopping collection. I couldn’t resist adding my Tweety pouch from Zara.

One point I would love to mention is the tee-dress has pockets which makes it more functional while you enjoy wearing it. You could also just add a pair of sneakers to this dress with a bag-pack and there you have your Athleisure look. The beauty of this simple tee-dress lies in its versatility! I have shown you 4 different ways to style it…What’s going to be yours? Comment down below!
